The Lofts at Katy Depot was converted from a 1900s passenger train station which supported Denison’s booming railroad that linked the entire United States for the first time. The joining of the Centrail and Katy tracks in Denison meant that the whole country, north, south, east, and west, were connected. The Katy Depot building served as the ticket office and railroad station.

The building renovation began in 2020 with the ground floor and is now the home of a unique retail experience with locally owned shops, offices, and dining establishments. The crown jewel of the building is the ballroom touting marble walls and sparkling chandeliers where you can now enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Our lofts offer a lifestyle second to none, from in-unit laundry to luxury plank flooring, exposed brick, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and huge picture windows. Wander down Main Street and enjoy downtown Denison offering events, live music, arts, shopping, and more.
