Our renovation efforts commenced with the first floor, focusing on the retail hallway spaces and the grand ballroom. One of the highlights of this phase was the installation of stunning new chandeliers, which now grace the ballroom with their timeless elegance. The project quickly revealed itself to be as ambitious as it was rewarding.

As we progressed, we faced numerous hurdles, including dealing with floods and the logistical complexities of working during a pandemic. Throughout the construction, we filled an astonishing 40 dumpsters, a testament to the sheer scale of the undertaking. Every challenge was met with resilience and creativity by our core team, who navigated each setback with unwavering dedication.

Moving forward, we tackled the second and third floors. The second floor was transformed into modern lofts, offering a contemporary living experience while preserving the building’s historic charm. The third floor was repurposed into versatile office and commercial spaces, designed to meet the needs of today’s businesses.

This renovation has been more than just a project; it has been a labor of love. Our team’s commitment to preserving the Depot’s historic integrity while updating its functionality has resulted in a space that harmoniously blends the past with the present. The Katy Depot now stands as a testament to our collective effort and passion, ready to serve as a vibrant community hub for years to come.
