“Katy Depot is a beautiful building in downtown Denison and this condo is on the second floor. We loved that the building had shopping, restaurants, and events while we were staying there. We also loved the proximity and walkability to downtown. We rented units 200 and 201 for our family and they were perfectly situated next to each other with a private vestibule between the two units and the exterior public area. The inside felt very large - plenty of room and the ceilings were high. We really likely the furniture, including the beds. All guests found them comfortable. The air conditioning and heat worked well. We were in Denison for the birth of my son, and the hosts were very understanding, gracious, and flexible when he came a bit early. We will most certainly be back to Denison and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Also, special shout out to Lucas at Ray’s Mercantile. He was so nice and helpful. You should definitely visit his shop if you’re staying at the Depot.”

“We were extremely excited to obtain this venue, and Sara was great. It was as she described, and she also related other locations for food, fun, and enjoyement
We made reservations for Stafford House for our eveing meal, which was how we celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary. And thanks to Sara, allowing us to rent her venue, after supper and several, several flutes of Champagne......we didnt have need for a DD.
What a wonderful experiance and hope to do more later..

“Overall, a large and spacious place. 2 nice bedrooms, large living room and kitchen. We really loved how private and close it is to everything from the local grocery store to Eisenhower's birthplace to good restaurants. There is a fine dining restaurant right below the room but we never heard a peep or smelled anything from the kitchen. Lastly, Sara, is great to work with. She definitely brings the Denison friendliness and charm as she works with you. One word of advice, bring some ear plugs for the trains that go by your room which aren't very frequent but can surprise you at night. Denison is a railroad town with references to trains all over the town which is one of the reasons we stayed at Katy Depot. We loved it! That being said, 5 stars all the way around.”

“This loft was nicely decorated, exceedingly clean, centrally located and very comfortable. There were nice, comfortable beds and coffee pods (with creme and sugar provided-yay!). Sara was very friendly and responsive both before and after booking. She provided timely and clear instructions for check in, check out and was quickly responsive to any questions.
We booked this loft for a short girls weekend to shop, eat out and relax. It was perfect for all three. There is shopping inside the Katy Depot, nearby in downtown Denison, and you are close to the "mall" stores in Sherman. There are restaurants on either end of the building for either fine or casual/patio dining, as well as several other options for breakfast, lunch or dinner in the downtown area. The weather was perfect for patio options.
Another reviewer noted the occasional passing train, which was accurate. The train noises could be heard a time or two, but I would absolutely stay here again. Overall, a great place!”
